My time in Colloquium has been a very enjoyable and educating experience. I was already an advocate of sustainable means and environmentally friendly living, but in this class I have learned more information and skills that have furthered my knowledge of these subjects and topics and how to educate others as well. It was also a class that had its challenges though, including lots of critical thinking. I think my colloquium class made me a better student though, halping me better my writing and thinking skills. In terms of my major, marine science, and my possible future plans I think this class has helped me immensely and helped me see the ideas and things I learn from a different, and better, perspective. Between the field trips, lectures and challenging but not overly difficult assignments, I believe my colloquium class was an enriching academic experience and I will have good things to say to future students.
